EduCare4u is managed by qualified teacher Alvina Khoo. A masters graduate from the University of Hull UK(MBA), she volunteered for three years with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), supporting the welfare of 60 Vietnamese children and orphans in Singapore. With Alvina's guardianship and guidance, the center delivers professional education care and tuition including home stay to both local and foreign students.
Alvina has 15 years’ managerial experience in the travel and hotel industry. Also an active community leader, she is a member of Singapore’s key business associations and Vice Chairman of the School Advisory Committee of Woodlands Ring Secondary School (WRS), Ministry of Education.
Her lifelong passion for children’s education and care is evident. She founded d’Student Educare Services in 2002 when business associates in Indonesia and Thailand asked her to act as the guardian for their children in Singapore. They wanted someone trustworthy to look after their children while they lived and worked in their home countries.
By taking on the role of educating and nurturing young children, she has turned her passion into a premier guardianship service to provide reliable and much-needed support for parents and students from overseas.
